<P><STRONG><BR>白玉，立體雕刻蟬形，雙目圓正突出，背部浮雕如意雲紋，蟬翼陽雕網紋脈絡，並鑽細孔滿佈。</STRONG></P><STRONG>
<P><BR>腹部陽雕六足，前足會合處有穿一孔，便於繫繩佩帶。</P>
<P><BR>此件近頂端有一穿孔，故為佩蟬。</P>
<P></STRONG> </P>
<P><STRONG>玉製的蟬，其用途有三：</STRONG></P><STRONG>
<P><BR>(一) 佩蟬：供人佩帶用，故其頂端有穿孔。</P>
<P><BR>(二) 冠蟬：供人飾於帽冠上，故其胸腹部有穿孔。</P>
<P><BR>(三) 唅蟬：供往生者唅於嘴中，祈求如蟬蛻而羽化成仙。</P>
<P><BR>佩蟬、冠蟬取其高潔之義。</P>
<P><BR>唅蟬取其復活、新生之義。</STRONG></P>
